Nicolas Cage (National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Leaving Las Vegas) stars in Knowing; a gripping action-thriller of global proportions about a professor who stumbles on terrifying predictions about the future and sets out to prevent them from coming true.

Rose Byrne ("Damages", Troy), Chandler Canterbury ( The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and Lara Robinson ("Saved") also star in director Alex Proyas' ( I, Robot ) riveting feature.

Really great film, i thought the ending was very good, i think others thought different because people always expect a 'hollywood ending' to every film wherein everyone is happy and skipping away holding hands at the end.

 do not buy this film!

Me and a friend saw this film at the cinema. It started off very well and had great potential..unfortunately the ending is shocking and quite frankly embarassing

 Just ridiculous

From the trailers it looked acceptable. I only went to watch it because I was meant to watch Gran Torino but looked at the wrong time. So I got there and thought I may as well watch some thing.

The trailers suggested it could be a decent story with a decent conclusion and explanation to the numbers.

The ending is laughable, but not as laughable as Nicolas Cage's acting. He is truly a moron and this film is inexcusable.

 "..Classic sci-fi.."

Im shocked that this film is getting low star reviews, please do not be put off by this as knowing is rather an excellent film, a really interesting and gripping story throughout, always keeps you wondering, nic cage is good in the film, best he's done lately as he is a bit hit and miss. rather a shocking but cool ending to the film. this is a highly entertaining sci-fi fantasy movie with awesome effects, worth a look without doubt.

The trailer was better than the actual film!! The first half of the film is very good and it does keep you locked into your TV screen but the second half was rubbish. It was ruined by the presence of out of space angels/aliens. Some very good effects and a frightening plane crash are the only good bits really. I give it 3 stars and not 2 because the plane crash was a terrifying scene.
