 Underworld Excellence!

This film is the take on the story of Lucian falling in love with a vampire. You see clips of this story in the previous sequels. The film is very well played, and consistent. The characters have remained the same which overall is what makes this edition soo good. If you are a fan of the Underworld films you will like this. Although it is not the usual action packed like the others it still keep you interested from start to finish.

 Excellent Sequel/Prequel

This is a Brilliant continuation of the Underworld saga. This time we are taken back to a time before the first two films chronicling The (as the title already points out)Revolt of the wolves from their Vampire masters.Michael Sheen is a legend and Rhona Mitre is stunning(which helps).A worthy sequel and I cant wait for chapter Four.

 RISE OF THE LYCANS!!!

After the first two excellent films we have a prequel to how this war between the vamps and lycans was ignited. Its a little shorter than the other films at around an hour and a half. Michael Sheen returns as Lucian who lead the uprising against elder Viktor (Bill Nighy). Rhona Mitra plays Viktors daughter Sonja who Viktor kills when he learns she is in pregnated with a hybrid. Like the others it has excellent style and great action supported by good SFX. If you liked the first 2 films then you should like this as it is short, sweet and filled with action. Enjoy

 Prequel

A reasonably good prequel to the original movies which managed to bring a lot of the original cast back together to make this story explaining how the war between the Vampires and Lycans (warewolves) evolved.

A good effort, not quite as good as the originals but definitely worth watching! 6.5/10

I really liked this film, had watched the others and feel it gave a very welcome insight into the whole story. Any one who liked the first two, i can see no reason to not like this one, its great!

I thought this film wasn't as good as the 1st 2. Layout was a little disapointing, the story wasnt as gripping.

 Disappointing

I was really looking forward to this filma s i have seen underworld 1 & 2 and throughly enjoyed them both. I knew the film was a prequel but i felt that through the flashbacks in 1 & 2 they had told a lot of the story from this film already. I think because of this the film never really got going for me which was a shame as their were soe brilliant actors in it.

Slots in perfect with the first and second movies...

Went the cinema to see this movie and was overall not impressed, but i decided to give it a second chance and buy the DVD, and it is alot better.

Its a pity that Kate Beckinsale did not reprise her role but Rhona Mitra does a fine job taking on the lead role of Sonja, sure we know the back story from the other films but this just extends on that and adds the action and famaliar charecters pop up from the previous.

For me it was definetly better the second time round and the movie is even better if one and two are watched before it. Very good for the third in the series.

 Brilliant Film

This is a fantastic film, well worth the money. Wish I had seen it at the cinema. If you're an Underworld fan you will love this. I hope they do more, would be great to have one explaining more about the very begining, and the time between Rise of the Lycans and Underworld.
