Disc one.
It's surprising what can actually happpen when you're a tourist in another country and Australia is no exception. A horrific story based on true events. Would you go backpacking after you've seen this horror movie?
Disc two.
The making of wolf creek, deleted scenes and meet Mick Taylor, the captor.
No subtitles for the hearing impaired on either disc.

This film was such a dissappointment! i had been told by friends before watching it about the supposed gore which i never really saw much of! The term based on a true story is very misleading the film is based loosley on two australian murderers which i dont think warrants the tagline "based on a true story"!
I would not reccommend this film to anyone, waste of money even if it does add 1cm to my stack of DVD's!

Absolutely amazing film, I love Australia, but this film has put me off doing the outback because it's based on a true story. Totally worth watching unless u wanna go backpacking.

One of the best horrors ever, totally different from any other horror out at the moment.

Oh My God...I loved this film, but what made it so scary is the fact that is happened, and similar things are happening all over the world. It does take a while to get going but once it begins you will be hooked, it was rather gruesome tho, i think it would have been scarier if u didnt see all of the gore because it would have made you think!

  VERY VERY GOOD

Once you've seen this film, you wouldn't fancy going to Oz's outback, but if you've already been to the wonderful country on the other side of the world, doing the whole backpacker thing like I did, you will love it even more!

What I loved most about this film was the slow build up. The audience can feel the tension in the air as we are introduced to the crazy killer.

In parts, there are scenes to shock, but nothing like the level of gore seen in films like Hostel. The direction is top notch and generally there aren't many 'american moments' (over the top, silly scenes!)

I think it is a modern classic in the horror genre and it's probably a film you'll love or hate. For me, I loved it. Top marks to Greg McLean who has put together a superb film.

Very dissapointed with this. Like the first reviewer I'm an avid horror fan but found this film to fail on many levels.
No real shocks, suspense, tension or gore. It took too long to get going and when it did we were treated to the most unscary serial killer in a long time. Thought it was filmed well and did contain some nice cinematography. Hence 2 stars. Doesn't live up to the hype. Watch if curious.
