Get ready for a visual and cerebral treat with this follow-up to the cult classic Donnie Darko. It's 1995, and Donnie's sister Samantha (Daveigh Chase) escapes her troubled family life and embarks on a road trip with rebellious Corey
(Briana Evigan). Their car breaks down in a sleepy desert town and the girls adjust to their new temporary home. Whilst Corey gets cosy with the dark and brooding Randy (Ed Westwick), Sam unwittingly engages the curiosity of "Iraq Jack" (James Lafferty). When a meteorite strikes, prompting science geek Jeremy (Jackson Rathbone) to take an interest in the girls' visit, it's clear their stopover is more than a coincidence.

Plagued by hallucinatory dreams warning her of the imminent end to the universe, Sam realises she must face the demons
she had fled back at home, whilst trying to save what really matters...

i think it was an okay film.
i knew it wouldn't be as good as the first film and from other reviews i got an impression it wasn't very good but i still thought it would be better because i was ignoring what the reviews said.
its a good film but nothing special. it cant live up to how good the first one was!

I bought s.Darko as soon as it was released as Donnie Darko is one of my favourite films. When i got it, i found it very unique and clever, I was not disappointed. Infact, i didn't think it would be as good as it was, as it could have been just some rubbish direct-to-dvd release, like so many other direct-to-dvd's.

Anyway, i would recommend buying this as it is a fantastic watch.

Like Donnie Darko for the O.C generation which is not a good thing but it passed the time.
