This firm will blow you away...

The director and cast of The Football Factory relocate to Spain's Costa Del Crime for this swaggering gangster film, a savagely funny tale of suntanned playboys, blokey camaraderie and violence that's as casual as the natty 1980s fashion.

With an acute eye for the cultural details of the 80s; from clothing to drugs and tacky Spanish clubs, boasting a superb soundtrack and a nailbiting climax, The Business is a tasty knuckle sandwich!

This film is amazing. Tamar Hassan and Danny Dyer should definitely stick together and star in everyfim together. I know they are ion alot of films together (football factory, city rats, dead man running etc...) but I would definitely say they play these roles the best. I love this film and everyone that watches it will love it too.

This is one of the best lads movies ever made. Director Nick Love ( The Football Factory, Outlaw, The Firm) deliver's his most enjoyable movie to date. Although a low budget British movie, What the movie lacks in production values makes up for charisma, with a brilliant cocky turn fro Danny Dyer and his regular partner Tamer Hassan. This film also boast one of the best 80's sountracks that matches it's early to late 80's time scope. Also filming in costa-del crime really does make this one of the most enjoyable British crime movies ever made. It's also very foul mouthed, but also very quoteable and very funny.
The Business demands re-watching, and if you are a fan of the Guy Ritchie crime capers, Rise Of the Footsoldier or any of Director Nick Loves other work, you'll love this!

Nick Love clearly needs to let go of his love for the 80's. EVERY SONG EVERY PLAYED IN THE 80'S is featured in this film, presumably so nobody forgets when it is set.

Also, too often are British 'gangsta' films let down by the done-to-death idea that 'Cocaine will be EVERYONE'S downfall'. We know it's bad. It's a dirty, filthy drug, we know. Move on now.

The performances are hysterically bad, ("Let's get 'ese Dutch cants 'en" - just awful) as is Nick Love's confusing determination to make these hideous characters seem likeable - and his attempt to chuck in a dismal amount of exotic sex appeal by dumping the story into Spain; just so everyone has an excuse to wear Speedos and thongs.

Saying this, I still find myself watching this film whenever I get the chance, but only for a laugh really.

It really says something about a film when the making-of documentary is more enjoyable, edited better, and almost seems to be better written that the main feature.
