Top 100 DVD Reviewer

"The Devil's Rejects" is a sick, ruthless, grab you by the throat and don't let go horror movie. Which is exactly what it sets out to do and it succeeds brilliantly. While the movie is sadistic and violent, the characters are extremely well developed and the movie is extremely well written. I've always felt that Rob Zombie would make a good horror director and while "Corpses" wasn't so well received it was only his first film. This is something else altogether.

This movie FAR exceeded any expectation I had. Zombie NAILED it in this one. Classic Freeze frames, awesome soundtrack an absolute horror classic. If you are a fan of the horror genre this really is a must see.

A fabulous film great; characters look out for Sid Haig & porn star Ginger Lynn Allen outstanding preformance's. Loved the sick twisted story line not for the faint hearted.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Far superior to House of 1000 Corpses

When I discovered that Rob Zombie was to do a sequel to his Hose of 1000 Corpses movie I was decidedly unimpressed. I was never a fan of House and was not hopeful when I sat down to watch this one (hoping against hope it would be good).

Guess what? It IS good. Very good. DR shows just how far Zombie has come as a writer and a director in such a short space of time. The characters are well fleshed out and the interpersonal relationships are given a surprising amount of attention considering this is a horror film. The performances too are excellent, especially Haig and Owen, who bring a great deal of realism and even sympathy at times to what are very hateful characters.

Nonetheless it IS a Zombie movie, which means language, gore and sexual threat are all ever present throughout the film, so the film will not be to everyone's taste. Horror and Zombie fans will, however, love the film, and even if you hated House I'd highly recommend watching this film, a sequel that is far superior to the original.

I came on here because I remembered how bad this film was at the cinema.People have given this film 4 out of 5.Its shockingly bad.Random woman out of police academy who couldn't act then, can't act still. The way it's filmed is like some one decided to that they could film like Quentin Tarantino but then realised they forgot to take their medication that morning and went back to making home movies of theirs dogs eating food.

Don't waste your money on this PAP!

The Firefly family- Baby, Otis and Spaulding are on the run from the law, they run into several people who become there next victims and they bump into many other classic horror actors (Dawn of the Dead- Ken Foree, Hills have eyes- Michael Berryman). Zombie's classic, shocker will have you sick from sadistic and verbal abuse, a truley disturbing film and not for fant-hearted.
Extras include over 2 hour making of documentry and many other extras. Keep em coming Zombie.

This is probs my favourite horror movie. Although the Firefly family are a bunch of loony serial killers you can't help but love them, especially Baby who is a complete nut job! Plenty of gore and action to keep you watching throughout :]

I have not seen the first film in this franchise (House of 1000 Corpses) so I had no idea what to expect from this film. Ignore what you instantly think when you put this into your DVD player because this film is not a shock horror "Oh look I hacked my foot off" SAW style horror, nor is it a "Wow I was scared by the sound effects and poor monster design poping out from behind a door again and attacking some poor TV teenage hearthrob actor" film. This is a quality flick with superb acting and even better story (which I will not spoil for you).
Yes this movie has gore and scenes that you wouldn't find in a disgracefull mainsteam horror flick with 8 sequels which screams "cash in". This film has a heart and a purpose and never over uses the blood and guts which you might expect.
