I originally wrote a review for this in 2009. Since then I've lost count of the amount of times I have watched the dvd. Its one of those movies I'll never get tired of, as its still funny every single time! Great stunts from various skateboarders and free-jumpers, mixed in with Kevin James hilarious attempts to be a tough-guy. Comedy, action, romance - the unexpected hero you'll be cheering for, and the baddies you'll boo. No bad language or sex, so it's great to watch with the kids, Adults... take a chance - it's a bargain you won't regret buying - trust me!

  LOVE IT!!

The story line might not be the best... BUT...
If you need cheering up or just want a laugh - you've got to watch this!!
I laugh out loud everytime I watch it.
Has to be in my top 10...!!

Okay, so i seen a preview of this when i went to the cinema. And it looked pretty good. Like a good comedy version of Die Hard. But in a Mall.

However, trailers can be deciving. All the best parts of the film appear in the trailer. With very few comedy moments outside of what appeared in the trailer i was let down.

The plot of the movie is a simple one, Theives take the mall over to get some money. This film however, will appeal to younger audiences. Kevin James is a good actor but the film could of been better. BUT at this price, it's worth buying.

  not up 2 my expectations

When I went to see this film I was excited as to see him in Kings of Queens and what a let down it was. There were very few funny bits and quite frankly its not even that good a story line. I would not recommend this film.

  Entertaining

Was a funny film in places. Story line was a bit rocky and predictable, I thought it was going to be a little better, I found the most entertaining bit to be the ring tone on his phone. Thats what got the most laughs from me. Watchable though.

  Mall Man Rocks!

When I first saw this film it reminded me of the classic comedy movies of the Eighties like Ghostbusters, Robocop, and Anchorman.

I read that the guy who plays Paul Blart used to be real security guard and it really comes through in his performance - much like Ricky Gervais ability to reflect the comedic side of working in an office, in that TV show - cant remember what it was called though?

I laughed for about 90 mins straight, then put this film on, and it didnt disappoint.

So buy it, watch it, then watch it again. Make some dinner, check the internet, and watch it a third time, possibly falling asleep, as it was a long day at work, and your boss was moaning at you again, but its all because of that guy who works on the third floor who keeps making mistakes.

Heres to a sequel, and heres to Paul Blart - that crazy, crazy mall man.

My friends and I went to see this and could not stop laughing all the way through! We are all aged between 21-30 so gives you an indication of who might enjoy it! Its more light hearted comedy than other favourites like Wedding Crashers, but still worth a watch!! :)
