Two words: Bradley James. He's gorgeous and an outstanding actor. Merlin has a range of amazing actors and guest acts too :D This is an amazing series and i can't wait for the rest of the second series :D Frankly one episode a week is NOT enough :( x
This series is great for the whole family! I watched every episode when it was on BBC and it was torture waiting a week inbetween episodes! it has it all friendship, romance, action, fights something for everyone! Series 2 is now on TV and cannot wait for the rest as its just as good as this one :) Bradley James is absolutely gorgeous and along with the rest of the cast portray a wonderful twist on the Arthur Legend. For those who like things to be historically accurate, this isnt... they change nearly everything but it doesnt matter at all because its brilliant anyways! BUY IT and enjoy is all I can say :)
BOXSET:
The complete boxset is made up of the two volumes, which is 6 discs, it does look nice but the set could have been made much better instead of just taking the volumes and sticking a slipcase over them.
SERIES:
Merlin is a nice easy watch TV series and can be enjoyed by anyone, but for those seeking a darker side of the Arthur/Merlin legend this wont fit the bill.
This is a brilliant programme! Loved every episode, and the special features.
Merlin is my all-time favourite TV show, it's captivating, funny, touching, a little dark at times - an all round excellent show. The cast do a brilliant job.
