Italian action star Giuliano Gemma stars in the comedy adventure Africa Express.

Gemma plays John Baxter, an American adventurer who sells various goods in Africa with the help of his chimpanzee partner. His goal is to save up enough money to open a gas station in his home city of Detroit. But during his travels, he encounters disguised spy Madeleine Cooper (Ursula Andress), who is running from crazed hunter Robert Preston (Jack Palance). Now his simple existence as a trader is changed as he helps Madeleine in her escape, encountering danger and action at every turn.
