Cry Wolf is a great film. The storyline is very original. It was a great low budget film, that was shot nicely and had a great cast. Jared Padalecki was great and it's good to see him in more films when he's on a break from Supernatural. Lindy Booth was good and we saw her step up to a main role in this film. I think that she did a great job and acted it out well. Julian Morris had a good first Hollywood appearance. But i think the film made him look good. Sometimes the expressions on his face were flat/lifeless and it felt like he really wasn't trying. Jon Bon Jovi wasn't bad as the teacher either, I'm a fan of his so I'm just going to say, stick to making music and not acting.
The film built really well to the end and it had some great twists at the end which were brilliant to see. They really turned the story on its head and made up for the small lack in pace through out the film.
The problem i had with the film was that yes, it was original, but how do you make something original thats also contemporary and fits in well. Cry Wolf did this okay. But there are better examples of it. And i think it's just an average film, and there wasn't anything really that memorable about it, that made it special.
