Top 10 DVD Reviewer
Like most series, Angel does not start all that well, but it gets a lot, lot better as it goes along, so give it a chance before you give up on it! It takes all the actors and even the writers a little time to settle in to things. The average Buffy fan will have no problems with the settle in period though, because it answers loads of questions from the Buffy series. All in all, well, it's not the best start to a seies, but you have to watch it, because it just gets so, so much better!
A decent start to a great show

When I first heard Angel has his own show after he left at the end of season 3 of Buffy I thought it was a good move in my opinion. He was a bigger than life character that deserves a show based on him & other things as well. Buffy is good but sometimes it wasn't as darkly as it should be you know. Basically Buffy was more for teens than for adults most of the time. So when Angel started I thought it was slow in the first couple of episodes but it got better around the fourth or fifth episode and it got better from there on. It was slicker, darker and more action packed than Buffy's fouth season which I thought it could have been better without all the love storylines which I find cheesy in my opinion. So I recommend this to any Buffy fans who want a little bit more and any fan of sci-fi period.
Great Spin Off Show

Loved the first season, it's an amazing spin off from buffy!! Am currently watching season 3, it still keeps the watcher hooked!! Buy this if you loved Buffy!!! Angel has special guest appearences from a lot of the buffy gang including buffy herself, spike, williow, cordilia and wesley!!! A must buy for any Buffy fan!
