excellent to see this dvd doing so well on here, truly original and laugh-out-loud funny.

wish these guys were on tv more these days.

I bought this on impulse and I can't believe how hilarious it is. This is a fine example of British comedy, absolutely insane, laugh out loud funny and consistent.
I really recommend this.

Vic and Bob need to do another sketch show, smell of and bang bang are too good! As hilarious as shooting stars can be, their sketches really show how warped their minds are. I had this on VHS when I was younger and wore it out from overplaying it. You can't call yourself a fan of Reeves and Mortimer until you've seen Mulligan and O'hare singing about their dead wife...genius!

If you think that handing a green balloon to your friend pretending it to be a green apple and letting it go in his hands is funny then this dvd will make you laugh. After 5 mins this double dvd 'classic' ended up in the bin.

Wasn't even good for the shelf.

After the 'Big Night Out' series' I was expecting great stuff, but this tops even that! If you like silly nonsense and grown men making complete idiots of themselves, than this is for you.

The second season is my favourite, but both are good for a laugh, particularly when they deliberately leave in the stupid mistakes they make which should have made it to the outtakes.

There are some great comedy moments here, the highlight of which has to be the ridiculous Sting interview by the Stotts...marvelous!

I can understand why the humour of R&M isn't for everyone, but if you like pure escapism that means absolutely nothing then you must buy this now...you won't regret it!

Great comedy its so random at times and painfully funny worth the money.

Vic & Bob at their best, lots of the usual stuff plus lots more make this a purchase that you will never regret.

Great to watch this again, Reeves and Mortimer's return to their best after Big Night Out. I cant really say much more that the above reviews haven't but say that the one thing the DVD releases dont have the added footage that the original VHS tapes had, with great missing sketches and alternative takes, which i was looking forward to seeing.
Other than that, a great collection

I have always loved watching this comedic pair. They are literally the 80's/90's equivalent of Morecambe and Wise and their early comedic brilliance should not be underestimated.
This DVD shows all of their early skills and for me is better than Big Night Out, even though that show was groundbreaking for both performers.
Being a huge fan I can say that the first series is missing quite a lot of originally broadcasted material. Actually, a large amount is missed out, however the second series is fully in-tact.
There are no DVD extras and no commentary by the pair, so you do feel that the BBC could have done better, but if you're a DVD collector like me, you will be used to the BBC short changing you. There is not an American release (as of yet) of this series, but like the DVD released of the Young Ones and Blackadder, BBC America seems to do our British comedy justice.
However, if you're new to Reeves and Mortimer or cannot remember the original broadcasted material you are in for a treat. Buy this DVD, you will not regret it....Donkey!
