Probably not everyones cup of tea but I found it to be really entertaining. Nothing like the original if you have seen that. If you dont like blood and violence you wont like this!!!

Complete waste of time and talent

This is probably the worst war film ever made (there may be worse but I've yet to see one!). Definately way below what you would expect from the Writer/Director and Main stars.
It's a muddled mess of a movie, maybe it's trying to be black humour but it's painfully unfunny. It can't think it's a serious movie can it?
Why did Brad Pitt waste his talent on this (Same could be said for Diane Kruger and Michael Fassbender) pile of tripe?
Such a disappointment, as I'm a fan of Tarantino and Brad Pitt and usually enjoy their work. Don't waste your time or money on it.
The disc will end up as a coaster or bird scarer, but definately never be watched again.
If i could mark it 0 starts i would.

  Tarantino's Best To Date

An outstanding movie. Very entertaining with the rich extended dialogue pieces we have come to expect from this director. You either get Tarantino or you don't. There is very little middle ground, as is apparent from some of these reviews. Rewriting history to suit the plot, killing off your main characters when needed, is this directors trademark. True, a film which contains many moments of suspense and unexpected events loses some of its impact on repeated viewing - as did some of hitchcock's work, but taking the experience as a whole, there are some great characters here . Worth adding to your collection

  One of tarentino's best

This film is absolutely brilliant, the tension is built up brilliantly even though most of the film is made up of long dialouge scenes. If you're looking for a standard WWII action film, this is not for you but if you want something differnet and unique, buy this NOW, for a 5er you can't go wrong.

  Great and different

This was never going to be everyones cup of tea but for those whose cup of tea it is its an absloute gem. It's different, clever, funny in parts and not like any other war films done before. It's a long film but fly's in quickly its truly one of Tarantino's best films since the pulp fiction days. GENIUS

I found this film very boring for a war movie and a Tarrantino film. To much dialogue that has no relevance whatsoever. Not enough action. What I will say is that some of the characters were good but not enough happened in plot for me to save the good performances of Christoph Waltz and Brad Pitt! If you like war films, avoid, If you like tarrantino stick with Pulp Fiction, Resovoir Dogs, Jackie Brown, and True Romance (written but not directed by Tarrantino) This is almost as bad as the film Death Proof in my opinion!

if you like tarantino's style you will LOVE this

it has his perfect tongue in cheek touch throughout, so very tarantino. Brad Pitts character is superb in it but the for me the Jew hunter wins for the best character.
