DVD Contains:

Botswana Special

The starting point is a little village on the border between Zimbabwe and Botswana. James was the first to arrive, in his 1985 Mercedes 230E. Next up was Jeremy with a 1981 Lancia Beta Coupe. Finally, Richard turned up in an Opel Kadet made in 1963, which he immediately bonded with and named Oliver.

To reach their destination on the Namibian border, the boys had to negotiate the vast openness and primordial sludge of the Makgadikgadi salt pans, the choking dust of the Kalahari Desert, not to mention the treacherous rivers and hungry wildlife of the Okavango Delta. Along the way, they encountered more or less every dangerous animal known to man, including hippos, elephants and the apparently testicle-crazed honey badger - as well as petrol shortages, flying vice-presidents and the Stig's African cousin.

Incredibly, the cars survived everything Africa could throw at them - including being dismantled, crashed, drowned and shot. Of course the presenters were well motivated to keep their cars moving: anyone who broke down irreparably would be forced to complete the journey in the spare car - an irritatingly unstoppable Volkswagen Beetle.

Vietnam Special:

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May go to Vietnam and are told to travel the entire length of the country in just eight days, thereby achieving what the American military failed to do in ten years.

First they must each buy some suitable transport for the trip, but the several million dong they have in their pockets prove to be rather less money than they thought, especially in one of the most expensive car markets in the world.
Nonetheless, the boys are resourceful and, with the wheels eventually sorted, they set off on one of the most spectacular and incredible road trips Top Gear has ever attempted.

The vietnam special is totally amazing...so entertaining.... Thrilling watch!! 10/10

Fantastic fun, but not as good as Great Adventures 1

I absolutely loved the US and Polar specials, but could never understand why they never brought the African special out, but i guess they were waiting for the Vietnam one. I thouroughly enjoyed the Botswana show, and the extra footage made it even funnier, but i thought the Vietnam special was flat and dull by usual top gear standards, so by all means buy the box set, but the Vietnam special will be a huge letdown if you're a hardcore fan

 Absolutely Brilliant (ambitious NOT rubbish!!!!)

well where do i start with this brilliant boxset? i will start with the botswana one...BRILLIANT! If you enjoyed watching it as part of series 10 you will love this because it has extra's in the episode as well as beautiful scenery and fab deleted scenes!

The Vietnam Episode is amazing too...probably one of the BEST episodes ever! I enjoyed watching this when it came on the tv over christmas and i STILL love watching it now .....they have fantastic deleted scenes and scenery!

in all this boxset is a definate must have whether you are an avid top gear fan or just like to chill out and have a laugh hence why i gave it 5 *

Well, Clarkson, May and Hammond are back and causing havoc again. The world is a better and funnier place for it. The Botswana special is good but the Vietnam one is great. Both are packed with humour and stunning scenery.
Even if you are not a petrol head you should still own these DVDs.
A MUST HAVE!!!
