My Bodyguard is the kind of unpretentious movie which doesn't get made that often. There is no gimic to hook the viewer unlike other teen films of the time-karate, b.m.x., or breakdancing. It is the straightforward story of friends overcoming the henious ordeal of highschool bullies and prejudice.
