A second volume of nasties that were, at one time, banned in the UK. Even more depraved and even more corrupt!
Tenebrae (Dir. Dario Argento, 1982): Shortly after American mystery-thriller novelist Peter Neal (Anthony Franciosa) arrives in Rome to promote his new book (the Tenebrae of the title) an attractive young woman is murdered by a razor-wielding maniac who stuffs pages of Neal's latest novel into the mouth of his victim before slashing her throat. So begins a bizarre series of horrific murders, the details of which strangely resemble the fictional murders in Neal's book. Baffled by the killings, the local police believe the author may hold the key to solving the case and turn to him for help. Circumstances change, however, when Neal himself begins to receive death threats from the killer.
Contamination (Dir. Luigi Cozzi, 1980): When a deserted ship arrives in New York City carrying a slaughtered crew and an even more horrific cargo, mutant green eggs the size of footballs that pulsate with life until they spray hideous chest-bursting death, a government research team uncovers a grisly conspiracy of murder, space monsters and coffee. Who is harvesting these alien hell-spores and what is their connection to a doomed mission to Mars?
Evilspeak (Dir. Eric Weston, 1981) Life sucks for Stanley Coppersmith (Howard), a teenage outcast who's bullied by everybody at the strict military academy to which he was sent following the death of his parents. When Stanley discovers the crypt of a 16th century Satanist beneath the school's chapel, he creates a computerised Black Mass that unleashes unholy revenge upon his tormentors. Now all Hell is breaking loose and Stanley's flesh-eating demon pigs are just the beginning! (Dir. Eric Weston, 1981).
Don't Go Near The Park (Dir. Lawrence D. Foldes, 1981): In the prehistory of man, 12,000 years ago, two members of a superhuman tribe abuse the treasured secret of eternal youth. They use the methods of ritual cannibalism on the children of their own tribe and when discovered by the 'Queen' of the tribe, they are cursed to an eternity of old age with no chance to ever die. Now, in present day Los Angeles, their only hope to recapture eternal youth is the ritualistic sacrifice of a 16-year-old female virgin. Their existence is discovered by an investigative reporter and a young runaway child and this leads to an unexplained and terrifying confrontation.
The Witch Who Came From The Sea (Dir. Matt Cimber, 1975): A woman who was abused by her alcoholic father takes out her frustrations on men by committing a series of mutilation sex murders -- and she really knows how to cut men down to size!
