Based on the Judith Krantz novel which tells the story of a beautiful and spirited daughter of a Russian Prince and an American movie star.
This rich and captivating story blends romantic passion with bitter tragedy, glittering glamour with dark and dangerous intrigue.
The beautiful and elegant Daisy has been scarred by a troubled and traumatic childhood. With a hollywood filmstar mother and exiled Rusian Prince Father, her life should have been privileged and perfect but her parents angrily split after her domineering father's refusal to accept Daisy's brain damaged twin sister and the tragedy is made worse by the death of her Mother in a car accident.
Arriving penniless in America, Daisy enjoys a meteoric rise to stardom as a fashion supermodel. She's desired by men, envied by women and tormented by a guilty secret she has gaurded all her life.

I loved this movie when I saw it on TV years ago and have tried for a while to remember the proper title and find it on DVD. How pleased I am that I have now found it. Any woman will find this story touching, sad and downright enjoyable. I have asked my daughter to get me it for my birthday so I can enjoy it all over and over again.
Brilliant

I bought this film on video along time ago but when a national paper brought it out on DVD I had to get the disc.
Rupert Everett cuts a fine figure in this film as Ram Daisy's stepbrother who is in love with her since he first set eyes on her.
Princess Daisy starts from the time her mother and father meet to the time of the marrage to the American, through her turbulant childhood to her meeting of a millionaire, and also realising that she has a twin sister was in an home.
I would recommend this film
