The Star Trek universe is given a comedy makeover in this unmissable feature-length sci-fi adventure parody that's packed with spectacular space action, incredible visual effects, hilarious comedy and zany characters.

Captain James B. Pirk of the Starship C.P.P. Kickstart and his crew, Commander Dwarf and Commander Info, find themselves stranded on 21st Century Earth after a previous adventure to save the planet from hostile aliens. Life is not good and Pirk's daily routine consists of stuffing his face at the local fast food restaurant and trying to convince the ladies that he is, in fact, an intergalactic space hero from the future. As the prospects for humanity's conquest of space look increasingly bleaker, Pirk comes up with a questionable plan to save mankind's future...

Created by an ingenious band of die-hard Star Trek fans this terrific sci-fi comedy will have you gripped all the way through to its stunning conclusion! Wreck on!

The making of documentary is a film itself.

It is hard to be objective about a film you've seen become reality. So I'm not going to even try.

However on the disc there is also a feature lenght "making of" documentary that chronicles the seven years(!) it took to make this film. It is in many ways a film on it's own, with a very honest look at how a group of youngsters managed to do a film like this - and how they grew up doing it.

 Stunning, impressive and funny.

A must for all Star Trek and Babylon 5 fans, this really is good.

The special effects in the space battles are better than all the current Star Trek movies combined! It has some great comedy as well.

I'm going to watch it again right now. :-)

 guys give them a break..

considering that this film was made by a group of regular finnish guys the production values are amazing. this is not a Cinema release film by any stretch but the fact that one guy did all the SFX on his home computer is quite simply staggering. also the subtitles do'nt distract from the story at all (which is hilariuos) open your minds people!!
if you are a fan of sci-fi in any sense you have to see star wreck at some point thats the end of it.

 Quite funny!

I watched this film a few years ago whilst bored at university, it has some funny moments and the special effects are actually quite good, the space battles I enjoyed along with the witty remarks!

Oh dear, bought this film with out-knowing it was all subtitled, the packaging hardly tells yous that it is (only a small box on the bottom that was easliy missed) and it was the packaging that had me buy this to start with. But that being said, this subtitled comedy just does'nt somhow work, its not that funny, maybe if they had put a dubbed english version on then prehaps it would be worth a watch, but unless you speak finnish then avoid because its just not watchable as a subtitled comedy.
