Then the movie pulls out all the stops with one of the qreatest stunts ever put to film, with scenes of actual stunt men decending by wire from one aircraft to another in mid-flight. Stallone is as good as ever in the hero role, but John Lithgow as the lead villain is more comic book, with a wild and confusing accent that switches from American to English every few minutes.
Craig (Eastenders) Fairbrass is suposed to show menace as one of Lithgow's psycho henchmen, but with showering every sentance with a profanity, he distracts from the role and irritates.
Also some of the good guy characters are a little too clean cut.
The direction is great by Renny (DIE HARD 2) Harlin and the mountain back drops are amazing.
Some of the camera work will make you dizzy, and if you have a problem with heights, this will no doubt make you feel queazy.
But as for the come back Stallone wanted, he did give his fans what they deserved.
The film does have it's faults, but is still a very entertaing thrill ride!
