  Indiana Jones/Western/Comedy

This film has a great western/gangster feel with lots of shoot outs. It doesn't have a strong plot but it doesn't really matter if you like action. The only thing I didn't like about this movie was one two many characters and extras just for cannon fodders sake making it a little hard to follow at times.

  brilliant action flik!

this is just such a rush, with non stop action and a thick vein of humour the whole way through!. why cant hollywood make films like this, instead of the dross they constantly churn out?. yes it has subtitles, and yes that will put many potential viewers off, but if you are one of those, this film might be the one to change your mind!. it is fun fun fun, with spectacular fights, spectacular chases, and even more spectacular sets, great characters is just the icing on the cake. GET IT!!!

  Wild Wild "East"

As the name and cover picture suggests this is a western, in the style of a the Clint Eastwood classics but with a twists. Not only is it not in the West, but it's had its own uniqueness.
The movie starts out with a build up to a train robbery, minutes later you're thrown deep into the action with great chases and gun battles. The film stays in this way throughout, there's action galore!
The story has many elements to it, a number of storylines which all intertwine and come together. The story is well written, its very entertaining and unique, and there's also a great number of comedy moments which'll be sure to make you laugh out loud.

Overall: The Good, The Bad, The Weird is just a great movie. It's one of those movies which makes you really look at the quality of Hollywood movies. This film is superb, it's got everything you could ever want, laughs, action, a good story, great acting. And it all comes together to make a seriously entertaining film!

  Unexpected surprise

Normally when you hear that someone "remade" Leone's 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' the first impression would be a highly negative one, however the final result is a surprising success. Loosely shadowing the classic western, Good Bad Weird allows for a much more action packed adventure, despite being a bit light on plot. However, you soon forget this when bombarded by intense action scenes (including a 20min car chase scene). The characters themselves each have a level of complexity about them that make them interesting to watch, and the acting itself is great.

Although it won't appeal to some people, there's no reason why this film won't satisfy the average action junkie and it's also a good way to get initiated into the wonders of world cinema.

On the recommendation of a friend bought this film and watched it. Very funny with brilliant action scenes , and at this price for a 2-disc edition it's a bargain. Buy it and enjoy.

  Great Action, Thin Plot

| | See all Listless's reviews (19)

The action scenes in this film are excellent; scenes literally explode and shatter before your eyes in a hail of bullets, axes and explosives. The 3 main protagonists are also great in their respective, all be it comic-book like roles within the film. The movie is cool, slick and humorous.

The only real problem is the plot, it leaves little in the way of surprises and the conclusion is somewhat obvious.

  Awesome

Great film for those who don't mind subtitles and a must for all Korean film lovers like my self. Feature two of S. Koreas finest actors, Lee Byung Hun and Song Kang Ho. A bit of everything.

  SUPERB!

I got this film on a mates advice. Damn was he right!
This film is awesome.
It is in Korean (with subtitles) but before long you'll forget that and simply be amazed by the fast paced action packed stunts and firefights.
I would of given it six stars if i could, best film I've seen in a while (since die hard 4.0).
p.s. The Bad RULZ!
