Really good film nice twists and turns if slightly more predictable than old boy. Ending was not as good as i had hoped and some of the flash backs were a bit disjointed but another Park Chan-wook classic nevertheless.
short and sweet

Like the title says, i'll keep this short and sweet.
This film is one of the greatest films I have EVER seen.
Chan-Wook is a master director and this is a fine ending to the trilogy.
Unmissable!

I don't agree with the above reviews; I thought the film was weird and badly directed/casted. It was disjointed, impossible-to-follow flashbacks and generally boring. I watched it twice and it still doesn't make sense.
Lady Vengeance - a real treat!

This film "Lady Vengeance" is the latest in the revenge series of films by the acclaimed Korean director Park Chan-wook (sympathy for mr vengeance, oldboy) the story follows a young woman Lee Guam-ja who has just served 13 years for the kidnapping and murder of a child, a crime which some belive she was not responsible for, if this was the case why did she confess openly to such an evil act? as she leaves prison she instantly puts into action a plan of revenge on the one who was responsible for her incarnation, a plan that has been in development for the 13 years she was inside. She starts to call up favors from her former inmates who are all to willing to help, as she has helped them whilst inside. Eventually she finds the man responsible and the revenge takes place, however, this is revenge with a difference, it is brutal both physically and mentally for the victim and for the people inflicting the punishment, and leaves you with the question "what would i do if i was in this situation, bearing in mind the horrific crimes this man has commited" This final scene is indeed brutal and poses many questions about right, wrong and justice. The music score for this film is one of the best i have ever heard and it really does help to set the atmosphere in which the film takes part. The acting is once again top noch with the leading lady portraying anger, sadness and grief so perfectly that if this was a hollywood production an oscar would certainly be hers. There are a few twists along the way but nothing too dramatic and once again this film is subtitled but please dont let that put you off this absolute treat of a film! 5 out 5
Beautifully artistic.

This is the more visual of the trilogy, with beatiful shots and powerful music, this is by far the best of Park Chan Wook's trilogy.
