A young man seeks out his astranged father only to be rejected by him, then tries to infiltrate his life in his own way. The film gradually gets darker and darker with a fantastic finish. I fully recommand this movie!

If you liked "Cape Fear" but thought it was a bit dramatic and silly in parts then this film is your answer. A real creepy revenge movie that plays things slow and pays off because of it. If you liked "No Country For Old Men", "Three Burials.." & "21 Grams" then this film is for you because like those great movies you will not forget this long after you have seen it.
SAVED by a cast who deserve better

This film is damn slow.
The only thing that stops this film from being an absolute turd is the fantastic Gael Garica Bernal, (brillaintly playing Elvis, an interesting enough character who's clearly hiding something behind his eyes) Pell James and Paul Dano.
William Hurt I can always take or leave, but his role is well suited to him.
This isn't the most absorbing drama-thriller you're likely to see. I wouldn't even particularly advise anyone who isn't a fan of the cast members to watch it. I'm quite glad I did, however.
