Liverpool Season Review: 2008/2009

Dissapointing refers to the DVD more than the season it reviews (which, as Liverpool fan was good if ultimately fruitless). It has all the basic content, all the goals and comments from the players etc but it is the little bit extra that is totally missing. The main menu has only two options, watch all or choose match. There is no 'special features' type content, other season reviews I have seen have options to watch things like all Torres or Gerrard goals for example or to listen to interviews. There are not even stat's on the season to show how many games players played and goals they scored etc. I had forgotten already that Dirk Kuyt scored a lot of goals but had to go else where to check how many (15). There is not even a league table outside of the main video. Considering the year a little Hillsbourgh tribute would not have gone astray either.
Maybe I am being a bit petty as it does do what it says on the tin but the potential is there to have a really comprehesive review and record of the season. A little more though and effort could have made it top quality.
It looks like (and probably is) a DVD that was rushed out to cash in.

Will have a double next year premiership and champions league!!!!

to the last reviewer, how is four points miles behind, everybody knows we should have won the league this season, and only let man u back in by a run of too many drawn games at the start of the year. Just look at the Stoke games, we should have one both(actually we did win the first one but a for a goal being disallowed incorrecty), had we won both then we would be champions. That is two games, hardly miles behind.

Ok as a Liverpool fan I'm gutted that we did'nt win the league but was ever so happy when we beat Man U 1-4 at Old Trafford. Things can only get better and 2009 /10 is the season, Its very hard to say which has been the best performance but our season has never been dull.
Going to Chelsea and end their home record, doing the double over Man U as well as beating Real Madrid at Anfield.
I do agree with the other reviews but next season I want it all, we have the team so lets do it.

Ok we didn't win any silverware but few could deny it has been a great year for Liverpool FC. From the league double over Man United and Chelsea (oh how sweet was the 4-1 thumping) to the European victors over Madrid this season had some classic games and goals. It has been said many times before but there should be genuine optimism going into next season on the back of what has been a fantastic campaign. So sit back and enjoy the 100+ goals of Rafa revolution part 5. P.S thank you Barcelona for ending my season on a high

Iv got every season review since 95, and this is surely going to be the best one since iv started collecting them! even i we dont win the prem, we have still had an unbelievable season, and realy scared united! whichis what we should being doing and what we will be doing in the future!

If we can push man united all the way, great times are coming back to anfield where the premiership belongs.
So many great games to choose from so many great games iam so looking forward to this dvd ive got the last 6 season reviews so this is going to be superb.
