More American Pie fun as funny, rude and enjoyable as the first, a hillarious teen comedy classic.

I loved the First American Pie film so was obviously curious to see if the sequel could match up to it and I can assure you that it does. Its definately worth getting the unrated edition as it does include some really funny extra stuff that you won't have seen in the cinema! If you liked the first one expect the same sort of stuff in this one and get ready to laugh out loud :-)

I'm not sure what American Pie does so different from other teen comedies, but it's just so much better than any of them. I think in it's own way, it's kinda clever. It's got a mix of one-line stupid jokes, eg Stifler (which are still hilariously funny of course) and then it's got the jokes that run on for 2-3 minutes eg Jim glueing his hand to his penis which are it's got to be admitted are quite witty. All in all though it's got everything a teen comedy needs, great music, boobs, and hilarious scenes. Plus, I absolutely adore Jim and Michelle's first kiss, it's just such a nice scene!

I was gobsmacked at how good this movie is. there are plenty of funny scenes including stiffler at the start, lesbians, super glue & so on. Just go & buy it

this is a great film for anyone looking for a laugh and is easily best of the series.

If you liked the first one you will like the next. Its got all the same people from American Pie 1. Everyone i know loves it as well.

This the 2nd entry in the American Pie series quickly marked the sagas dip in quality. Though being far from the worst this series would offer American Pie 2 ain't that good eiether.
The Story invloving the gang from the 1st movie heading to a beach house over the Summer where they hope to party hard, have alot of sex and generally just live up for the time of their lives.
The script is penned once more by Adam Hertz who produces a far patchier affair this time around. There are some excellent gags but most of the jokes just feel like innuendos and sex gags that where deemed to weak to make the final cut of part 1.
Director J.B Rogers is probably one of the worst out there. Whilst making this mediocre flick he directed the unacceptably poor Say it isn't so, and plenty of this films poorer moments stem from his lousy direction.
If anything saves American Pie 2 from sinking to the levels of the series future sequels it's the fact the cast are still likeable. Jason Biggs in recent years has proved he's a totally 2-D actor but here he's still good value in the lead. Seann William Scott is fairly funny and for the beautiful Tara Reid and Shannon Elizabeth this film and the original remain career highlights.
So for those who loved the first slice of American Pie, this sequel might be worth shelling out for, but for anyone else it's a strict rental and to be honest your life would be no less empty for giving it a miss altogether.

i thought the first was good, well this one lived up to the expectations set from the the first, loads of laughs and sexual tension, plus the part with the lesbians and the beef between stifler and finch is great. good to see them all back together again.......................finch is the man
