 Some of the best Sci-Fi

The Next Generation is where the resurgence in Sci-Fi began, all those years ago in 1987. It is great to watch them again. There is absolutely no point in me talking about Star Trek, you will either know about it or not so I will talk briefly about this season.
There is nothing missing on the disks between this version and the full boxed versions.

The entire cast put in amazing performances and really make this series as good as it is.

Season 6 is probably the best season of TNG, excellent scripts, acting and production values make this a good all round season. Some of the episodes are fantastic and I just don't get bored of them!

 The best so far

Series six has some of the best episodes out of the entire series that you can ever watch.

Series 4 and 5 seemed to take TNG into a slump, but they seemed to have turned everything around and made this an excellent series.

The chain of command is probaly the best couple of episodes so far, I still have the final series to watch yet.

It seems sad knowing that this is the last but one series and I shall be wishing for more, especially after this series.

The downside to this series is that the battle with the Borg seems to be missing a lot of the times, I think it was series 2 that introduced you to them, but little has been done to bring them more into the storylines.

Maybe instead of making a bad movie about star trek, maybe they should have concentrated on a series about the Borg wars and the fight about their dominance.

Personally I think that this would be an excellent series where you could get at least a couple of years out of the format.

Still looking forward to series 7 and sadly the end, as I honestly cannot remember how it does end.

 Nearing the end.....

Season 6 has probably some of the best episodes of the entire series. This season takes place around the same time as the first season of Deep Space Nine. Stand out episodes include "Relics" (This episode features the return of Scotty from the Original Series), the rather creepy "Schisms" (A rather sinister episode which plays upon the idea of alien abductions), "True Q" and "Tapestry" (These episodes feature the return of Q, with the latter episode being of particular note), "Rascals" (Picard, Ro, Guinan and Keiko are transformed into children due to a transporter accident. Although this episode seemed rather stupid at first, I actually quite liked it), "A Fistful of Datas" (A fun episode paying homage to the western), the fantastic two part episode "Chain of Command" (Picard, Worf and Crusher are sent on a covert mission into Cardassian space which ends with terrible consequences for Picard), "Ship in a Bottle" (A great episode which sees a continuation of the story line established in the season 2 episode "Elementary, Dear Data" and explores the idea of reality), "Birthright" (another two part episode which sees a cross over between Star Trek the Next Generation and Deep Space Nine, where the Enterprise visits the station. Julian Bashir comes aboard the Enterprise to conduct an experiment with help of Geordi and Data), "Starship Mine" (Die Hard, Star Trek style), "Frame of Mind" (Riker finds himself in an alien mental institution and struggles to distinguish between reality and delusions), "Second Chances" (A duplicate of Riker is discovered on a planet due to a transporter accident several years earlier), "Timescape" (Picard, Data, Geordi and Troi must help the Enterprise which has become frozen in time whilst under attack from Romulans), "Descent" (This is the two part season finale, which is really fantastic and sees the return of the Borg....however these Borg have a sense of individuality and rather than assimilate, they kill).
