The Next Generation is where the resurgence in Sci-Fi began, all those years ago in 1987. It is great to watch them again. There is absolutely no point in me talking about Star Trek, you will either know about it or not so I will talk briefly about this season.
There is nothing missing on the disks between this version and the full boxed versions.

The entire cast put in amazing performances and really make this series as good as it is.

Season 7, the final season of TNG is another excellent season. The two part conclusion to the TNG saga is first class and features my favourite antagonist, Q. The season does a very good job of tying up all the loose ends and rounds TNG off nicely.

I honestly was not going to write a review until I had finished watching this series, but I find myself saddened knowing that there is no more after this.

I ask the question why, simply because of the fact that series six and seven have been what series four and five should have been.

The next generation hit a slump during those series, but series six came back stronger than ever, and series 7 so far has been amazing.

I honestly hate Data and the way that he has been thrust too far into the limelight in other series. But..........

I have to admit that when Data took command of the Enterprise and became serious his character was totally excellent, when he was in this mode, he was excellent, and I would have watched a series with him as Captain of his own ship.

He does however go back into his old annoying self after this, which I find totally annoying being perfectly honest.

Series seven just seems a very sad end to what was becoming an excellent series, I just there was more.

I am watching Force of Nature as I write this review, and it is an excellent episode the more it goes on, it was slow to start with, but it ooozes quality half way through.

The chances are I will watch the whole seven episodes again, but I could watch series 1,6 and 7 on repeat play.

Goodnight Enterprise :(
