You all know the movie that turned Arnie into to biggest Hollywood star ever. But also this is the movie that put director James Cameron on the map. This is a low budget budget classic. It's one long nightmare vision of the future. Lets face it Arnie will never be known for is acting skills, but he is perfectly cast as the killer cyborg ! A Brilliant film and has hardly dated after all these years.
This is a future shock classic!

This is a cult classic sci-fi movie directed by James (Avatar, Aliens, and Titanic) Cameron, where we see Arnold Schwarzenegger play the iconic movie cyborg for the first time! Great 80s film with now dated cheesy effects but still brilliant performances from the cast, great story and an iconic movie score!! A must own in any sci-fi fans collection of cult 80s movies!!

 Iconic Breakout performance by Arnie

The Terminator movie is just one of those movies that theres not really any point picking faults in.
Quite simply because it is a All Time SciFi Action Classic.
Its got Brilliant Story, Spot on performances from Arnie, Michael Bien and Lind Hamilton.
The direction is assured and shows glimpses of what James Cameron would do in the future.
Some of the effects look a touch dated, but nothing to tragic.
Defo worth watching this and following it up with the even better Part 2, the below par Part 3 and the new Salvation Movie.

It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear....

Cameron's B-movie masterpiece made like a big blockbuster. The story was intelligent and the action intense. The acting was brilliant especially from Michael Biehn as Reese the solider from the future sent back in time to protect Sarah Conner from the deadly Terminator. I never appreciated the love story when I was younger but now I realize it was a strong part of the film. It was great seeing glimpses of the future war which gave you a good idea what it was like. T1 is allot darker than T2 but still brilliant in its own right even if the special effects are slightly dated. Defiantly one of Arnolds greatest film and role he's played in his career and the film that made him a superstar. If only I could go back in time and watch it again for the first time.
