Sean Connery is back for his final performance as super agent James Bond, in this high-velocity action thriller, from the director of 'The Empire Strikes Back'. In this remake of the 1965 spy classic Thunderball, two atomic warheads are hijacked by the evil SPECTRE organization, forcing agent 007 out of retirement and hurling him into an explosive, pulse-pounding race to save the world from nuclear terrorists.

This remake of Thunderball from 1983 was bad in comparsion to 'The Offical Series.' Sean Connery returns to the role as Bond but there is things that really let it down like music and graphics look badly dated all without no Bond theme as this is unoffical and it is crying out for it. Some acting could have been better! The only good bit was after the title theme where Bond attacks a place to rescue a hostage which turns out to be a training test. Edward Fox plays 'M' and does well. Even the gadgets on the bike are near to what could be something that Q's assistant made.
please say never again

the lack of the usual direction and production slaps you in the face from the start. the older bond connery is suave and sexy as usual but seems a little long in the tooth to be a double o agent. non of the original cast are present and if you take away the name "bond" you actually just have a very poor film. true oo7 fans will hate this as i did. glad its not part of the box set.
