This is without a doubt one of the most awesome TV shows ever made, classic cartoon with so much detail and variation in characters and stories, the animation is brilliant for the time and still looks good even today, for this price it's almost like stealing, there are hours and hours of episodes to keep you busy for a long time. essential perchase i say.
This series brings me right back to my childhood. I used to love this program so I decided to purchase the box set once it had dropped in price.
I wasn't disappointed but I have to admit that it is so cheesy...cringe worthy at times.
This is a great buy as you are purchasing all 65 episodes of season 1.
Just waiting for season 2 to be released now so I can finish off the collection.
I was into He-Man and She-Ra as a kid and have great memories of me wearing my duffle coat as a cape and pretending to be She-Ra.
My Husband bought me the box set for my 29th Birthday and I am glad to say that He-Man is still as fantastic as I remembered it more than 20 years ago. Just a shame I can't say the same for She-Ra, that's another DVD which will be sat on the shelf gathering dust.
My 6 year old Son likes watching old cartoons with us, such as the old style transformers and he is currently glued to the TV watching He-Man. It's a great animation for big kids like us and our children to watch together on a cold Sunday morning/afternoon.
A truly amazing price for all 65 episodes of series one.
I ordered this from Play.com a few months ago and was not disapointed. The storyline, characters and animation are as brillaint as ever and it is really great to see these episodes fully remastered after such a long time. Skeletor has to be one of the coolest villains of all time :)
Its' a shame that when I e-mailed Contender they stated there are no plans for series 2 to be released in region 2 (UK). Very disapointing but this is no reflection on Play.com whose service is excellent as always.
A great series and a great price for 65 episodes! A must-buy for anyone who loved watching this show as a child.
