Tragic Family Drama of the Small Town Girls

Japan once again has shown the world how to make good drama's without filling the scenes with wannabe tear jerking sentimental moments.
The story is of 1 son and 2 daughters who reunite following the unfortunate death of their parents. The family home which once housed the 3 of them returns to the way it used to be, and that isn't a place for happy memories.
The story is well written taking you into the minds and lives of the 3 children without you even noticing it. Through clever transfers into the past you get a good look into the lives they've all lived, who they are and what truly drives them.
It's a weel acted movie with great performances from all 4 of the main cast. It's a movie which is generally filled with misery but at times will still bring a smile to your face, even if it is an evil one.

Overall: Funuke, Show Some Love, You Losers! is a movie about striving for your goals and ultimately accepting who you are and your place in life. It's written well, acted out well and put together nicely with some competent directing.
It's a winner and a must see for domestic drama fans

Wow does this film have a sting in its tale...

honestly didnt know what to expect when put it on, but really enjoyed it. dark, sometimes funny, sometimes sad movie about a rural family living in Japan and the oldest daughter returning home from Toyko to attend her parents funeral.

the film shows the monsters the daughters are... both great performances, the lead I have seen in Cutie Honey... another wild Japan film. having seen this performance, in Show some love, you can tell she just isnt 'look's' (as in cutie honey) but she can act... mind you the looks help : )

also great performances from the lady who is the brothers wife, again, a tragic character, who believes in the Magic of a 'Fan' (when you see you'll no what I mean)

may not be everyone taste, but fans of Japan's great cinema, will enjoy it
