Spaced: The Definitive Edition - Series 1 & 2 (3 Discs)

I just, well, dunno, i mean ... erm??? Basically, simply put, er.... What you gotta do, is buy this dvd, put it on, and.... you will notice that all the problems in your life will evaporate, they will dessolve into a endless mass of joy and happieness, never again, will life be one pointless, endless struggle for existence. Once again you can awake each morning will a smile on your face, "whats up?", your girlfriend/wife/poster of buffy will say, "i dunno..., i just feel..... you know..., good", "really" says your girlfriend/wife/poster of buffy, "why?", "well...", you'll say, "ever since watching spaced, i feel like throwing away that toy of Gillian Anderson, and getting a toy of Jessica Stevenson", "what?", she/it will reply. "I mean erm, I love you". And so from then on you will never be able to have a conversation about dvds, tv, or comedy without saying, "Oi, u seen spaced?, Its The Greatest Series Ever Made".

One of the greatest British comedy shows ever created!! Extremely funny and original series with a very unique style and a fantastic cast, it does not get any more perfect than this, a must own at any cost, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are a winning team in everything they do, you can go back to this time and again and it will not fail to cheer you up!!!

Obviously this is one for a certain taste in comedy, definitely not one for those who drool over glib American series about 'Nancy Drew' wannabes ... Spaced is funny, original (obviously something the first reviewer has totally missed), quirky, but in a warm, light-hearted sense, and totally refreshing. Simon Pegg & Co have left those of us who appreciate original, cleverly written humour, wanting more ... and here it is. A great buy for any 'Spaced' fans.

God i love this series...It really is the last truly brilliant british comedy series...at least that's how I feel. Sure there are others, but this was one of a kind. Nobody has made anything like this ever since. The office is still being copied and further developed in oh so many forms...it's sad, cause it's a comedy dead end now and has been for a very long time. Green Wing makes me cringe, but just one out of many. Try thinking new and fresh like they did here. Sure, they will never be able to make something as special as this again. Darkplace is the only british series that almost made me feel hope for british comedy again. The freshness of Spaced is sorely missed.

Low budget comedy series...but absolutely fantastic. Love all the characters and plots, Spaced keeps it simple and very funny (the chav shoot out...excellent). love all the dream/thought sequences. I'm a big fan of Star Wars, Games console shoot-em-ups, and action movies and loved all the homages throughout both series. Wish they'd make more....the possibilities are endless
