C.E.O.T.T.K is a mix of wonder, excitment, great direction, excellent acting and eye popping special effects. Richard Dreyfuss' performance as the almost child like Roy in his persuit of the truth is the real heart of this intelligently written story. If you haven't seen this film yet..... where ya been? On another planet?

A brilliant flick that i first watched as a boy and even then i loved it and was just amazed at the spaceships!
Now thirty years old, i obviously understand the story much more and watched it again with more interest and really enjoyed it, i just can't believe that it's older than me!
Made in 1977 by the great Steven Spielberg with Richard Dreyfus (Jaws) this was definately the basis of many of the sci-fi films that we see today!
Picked this up in the 2 for £10 offer and it was a great buy as it is easily worth the 5/5 stars!
Nice one Play top notch 2dvd collectors edition for my growing collection!

Often underated movie that used every aspect of UFO mythology (or reality depending on your view) to tell a spellbinding story of one mans calling to an amazing encounter.
The special effects are still top rate, and the final meeting with the mothership jaw-dropping stuff.
Dreyfuss puts in a superb performance as the lead character.
