Holly is a deliciously eccentric New York City playgirl, determined to marry a Brazilian millionaire. George Peppard plays her nextdoor neighbour, a writer who is 'sponsored' by wealthy Patricia Neal.
Guessing who's the right man for Holly is easy. Seeing just how that romance blossoms is one of the enduring delights of this classic, set to Henry Mancini's Oscar-winning score and the Oscar-winning Mancini/Johnny Mercer song, 'Moon River'.
The names Audrey Hepburn and Holly Golightly have become synonymous since this dazzling romantic comedy was translated to the screen from Truman Capote's best-selling novella.

I have been waiting to see this film for ages and I truly loved it. She is so much better then some of the actresses you see today plus she oozes true glamour. She did it way before the girls/films/clothes you see today.
Brilliant.
Cutely rewarding

I only watched this film recently and was amazed that Audrey Hepburn could play such a character. We are used to seeing these types of roles played by modern day women (such as the actresses of Sex and the City) but this film did blow me away. It touches on important subjects such as love, marriage, sex and drugs. All the while Audrey Hepburn looks stunning. If you're a sex and the city fan then this film is for you.
