James Stewart sitting in a wheelchair with a broken leg for approximately 2 hours sounded almost torturous to watch but as it happened it was one of those movies that kept you interested throughout.
The way the movie was filmed from James Stewarts window, looking in on his neighbours was unusual but extremely effective.
This film has made me go online and order more Hitchcock films.

James Stewart is L.B Jeffries, a famous photographer who cannot leave his apartment because of a broken leg and with nothing to do but look out of the window all day he soon discovers there is more to his neighbours than first meets the eye... With the help of his nurse Stella played by Thelma Ritter and girlfriend Lisa (Grace Kelly) he sets out to solve a murder.

Master of suspense director and fantastic lead actor James Stewart, this is movie that even if you haven't seen before you will have seen a paraody of (The Simpsons) guy stuck in his apartment looking out of the window for nearly two hours sounds boring but is far from it - watch and enjoy !
