awesome beginning to an explosive end.
a great season of alias with twists and turns galore.
the finale reminds me of 28 days later and brings the rambaldi prophecy full circle.

Although this was a gr8 season with a brill ending, i didn't think it as good as the previous 3. But in saying that i could not stop watching it and had many late nites!!

this season is different fom the previous seasons, the cast members look great and have a great dynamic thats still fresh four seasons in, there is some great action and dramatic scenes.
the finale is pretty intense and is a must have for fans of the show.

 somehow different

Although the characters remain almost the same (except for Nadia which becomes one the protagonists) and the situations are all almost alike the previous, something new appears in this season. The change of main set - APO, the new CIA division - helps the series get out from the stalling of the previous two season. Not bad.

After season 3 it was clear the show needed a little bit of a reboot and a little bit of simplification to help out it's viewing figures and so, here in season 4 we have a disconnect from the finale of season 3 - unlike previous seasons which picked up almost directly from where they ended.

With Sydney quitting the CIA - is all as it seems? Well, in 'Alias' of course it's not. In setting up the new Authorised Personnel Only (APO) division the show heads back to season 1 territory to allow more stand alone episodes to develop.

However, fear not because the overall arc has not been forgotten. Instead it's slowly revealed inbetween moments of the episodes that at first seem to have little to do with it. Again, building to a great finale (and reappearance of a major character) that shows they knew what they were doing all along!

In some ways, one of my favourite seasons, thanks to several great stand-alone shows ('Nocturne' in particular which comes here in an extended version not aired on television) and a very good finale.
