Home Improvement profiles Tim Taylor (Tim Allen), an average father raising three kids with his aspiring psychologist wife, Jill (Patricia Richardson). When not engaged in domestic squabbles, Tim hosts a home improvement show called "Tool Time."

Tim constantly gets himself into scrapes with his crazy ideas, while Al Borland (Richard Karn), his loyal assistant, attempts to keep him on the straight and narrow at work. At home, when Tim runs into trouble with his family, his faithful neighbour Wilson is the one to offer him advice.

This series sees Al turn 35 and try to find a wife with the help of Jill, Tim's wife. In Tim's household, the family celebrates Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas with the expected calamitous results. Installing an intercom at home causes more problems than expected and Tim receives tragic news that Mr Binford, his boss, has died of a heart attack - Tim finds a very special way of saying goodbye!

i just love the humour in this show the only down fall i can think of is the repetativeness of jokes (running gags) for example all ways the nabor to solve the problem in the episode o yer 1 more folt not with the show this time but with the dvd why is there only the first 3 sesons avalibal for europe my favourite season is seson 4 im so disapointed help me some 1

This was one of the best shows of its time and this season is one of the reasons why. Every episode is full of some very funny bits. They finally got a new tool girl too and it was about time too as pamela anderson was just horrible and really can't act to save her life. Watch out for tim's son randy as he is the funniest character on the show
