an excellent film thriller by Branagh demonstrating that he can succeed when he turns his hand to it. A thriller with a twist set in two different periods but linked together by reincarnation.
Excellent performances by Branagh and Emma Thompson as well as support from Andy Garcia and Derek Jacobi - look out for Robin Williams in a cameo role.
A must for al thriller fans who like their thrillers to be a little original and different

Branagh, in the 90s, was one of the best actors and directors of his time.
This film is an evidence for this judgement as the spectator is taken through a complex yet totally fascinating story and through different times. From the black and white 40s atmosphere to the modern era LA, the story never slows down.
