What has become without doubt one of the greatest westerns made has been given the digital remastering treatment and boy what a job they have done, the clarity of the picture and the colours are a wonder to behold, it has really made the movie a spectacular treat to the eyes and it also defaults to widescreen just to put the icing on the cake, the only fault I could possibly make on the remastering is that they have cut a fraction of the scene where Lori (Diane Lane) walks out of the river in her undies, maybe to save her blushes, 'boy she looks good' no wonder old Gus took her along!
So if you want six hours of pure entertainment buy it now!
