This was one of the best Hong Kong contemporary martial arts films I have seen in a long time. A slick action thriller with enough fights to please even the most needy action fan.

Clearly taking inspiration from Jackie Chan's Police Story Films and other American cop thrillers. The film sees Donnie yen's hardened copper protecting a witness to a drug deal and brutal murder committed by vicious gangsters.

As with most films of this genre you can forget about the plot and just concentrate on the spectacular action. Numerous fights and a brilliant action sequence in witch Donnie yen fights US martial arts champion Michael woods whilst the two are speeding along on motorbikes is one of the best action sequences I have seen in A long time.
