This movie is very good but I would recommend to anyone who likes it to watch Blood+ its a 50 episode series which uses the same characters as in this 1 but the story goes in much more depth and detail
Blood: the last vampire is great. The animation is top notch and the story is action packed and so atmospheric that you loose yourself in the movie. The only bad thing about it is that its so short. 48 minutes is a crazy time, the movie is so good you want is to be twice that time. All in all the movie is brilliant and a real must see for manga fans.
I really enjoyed this film and thought constantly, all the way through, it held together an atmosphere i felt perfect for the film. The scenes were creepy, one in particular, and kept you on the edge waiting for more. The characters are as developed as necessary for the tale and you instantly feel apart of it all.
A definite see in my opinion, enjoy!
The story is the prequel to the anime series set just before Saya slaughters a village in Vietnam. Saya the last origional hunts down and kills Chiroptera, monsters who can hide in human form. The short 48 minute film follows the prgress of Saya's attemps to locate and kill a group of chiroptera hidden in a rural area of Japan. It's a bit short but if you like it I recommend seeing the anime. This film rocks and you'll wanna watch it again! I did anyway!
I agree with mike the film is absolutley amazing but could have done with being alot longer it finished and i was left in limbo after that
