Alan Partridge is the C-list celebrity from hell: a sacked chat-show host determined to claw his way back to the heady heights of the B-list by any means necessary. Steve Coogan's characterisation of the monstrous Partridge is a masterful composition of misplaced ambition, frustrated sexuality, brutal insensitivity and pathos.
A Room with Alan
Alan gets a chance to put his new programme ideas to BBC Chief Commissioning Editor Tony Hayes.
Alan Attraction
It's Valentine's Day and Alan enjoys a romantic liason with the receptionist at Peartree Productions. Passions are aroused and some hot, sticky moments ensue.
Watership Alan
Alan gets into deep water when he presents a promotional video for a boating company. Has his PA Lynn got what it takes to be an on-air Mrs Partridge?
Basic Alan
To while away the hours at the Linton Travel Tavern, Alan gets to grips with the workings of a Corby trouser press.
To Kill a Mocking Alan
Alan hosts An Afternoon with Alan Partridge at the Travel Tavern. He's especially interested in the reaction of his Irish TV executive guests, while coping with the attentions of Jed, number one fan.
Towering Alan
Alan receives an unexpected telephone call with some tragic news. Could this be the big break he's been looking for?

The funniest British comedy series ever no question.
If you can't laugh at this then there has to be something wrong with you, although I think the second series is slightly better (buy them both you will not regret it believe me). COMEDY GOLD!

I have not yet met a person who does not find Alan Partridge funny. Not only does the series throw up some genius quotations, the character that is Alan Partridge has to be on a par with David Brent as one of the greatest comedy creations ever. The individual episodes are original, and this ground-breaking comedy is something which everybody deserves to enjoy. Trust me, after the first five minutes of watching you'll wonder how you ever survived without it.

Partridge is the funniest comedy every created. I've watched both series well over 20 times and I still crack up just thinking about it. This is a no-brainer, buy it.
