Great film one of my all time favourites.... if you're a film fan you most definately will be a Memento fan. A memorable film that can be absalutely mind boggling at times, but none the less an incredible idea for a film executed to perfection.
Bravo Christopher... Bravo.
Ingenious concept, incredible outcome

I have never seen a film as unique and clever as Memento. The way that the films scenes order is reversed really makes this film stand out from the others. By using this effective technique it takes a simple story and flips it round into a complex and intriguing plot which has a fantastic twist at the end (although its technically at the beginning).
The acting is also fantastic with a strong cast and a tremendous performance from Guy Pearce who portrays the main character perfectly.
This is certainly not a film for someone who struggles with complex plots as this is as complex as it gets although by the end the overall plot is easily understandable.
Its just one of those films that you just HAVE TO WATCH
!!!
Get your thinking cap on

This film is very different from your average film where you start at the end and work your way towards the beginning. May not sound that good but believe me it is.
The film is about Leonard Shelby a guy who cannot make any new memories due to an attack on him and his wife. Memories to him now are through pictures, tattoo's and notes written the previous day or 5 minutes ago. Any way the idea is that he is trying to find his wife's killer, which maybe you see happening at the beginning of the film.
If your a fan of movies that make you think then you should definitely buy this one. Absolutely brilliant film with top class acting from Guy Pearce.
A different and extremely intelligent approach that works brilliantly. You need to pay attention as it gets the brain working overtime. You will definately not be dissappointed with the story and good solid cast. Very satisfying when its over and you understand what's been going on. Enjoy.
A classic movie, with a totally original concept

When I first heard about this movie I hired it on DVD not really knowing quite what to expect. The first scene (or is that last?!) shows a man being killed by a gun but filmed in reverse. Thankfully the rest of the film is not people walking around in reverse etc but carefully layered scenes, each new one set chronologically before the previous.
This opens up endless possibilities of twists, turns and humour, which Christopher Nolan takes full advantage of. Guy Pearce is at his absolute best playing Leonard Shelby, the man who cannot make new memories due to an injury sustained whilst himself and his wife were attacked. He therefore has an uphill task finding the true murderer of his dead wife which he has now set as his only goal in life.
Matrix stars Carrie-Anne Moss and Joe Pantoliano give excellent support in this gripping and original tale which may take at least a couple of viewings to completely get your head round.
The great concept, acting, score and of course editing make this an unmissable thriller.
