Jean Claude's second starring film role after Bloodsport, this is a classic 80's action flick. If you liked Commando you will like this!
Out to avenge his brother's crippling at the hands of Thai kickboxing champ Tong Po, Kurt Sloane (Van Damme) trains with a Muay Tai master who does his best to train Kurt 'Mr. Miyagi'-style; though it's less wax on, wax off, more 'kick that tree down with your shins.'
The end fight is superb, the broken glass punches will make you wince! Other highlights include the drunken dancing/fighting in the bar, and the cheese-gold soundtrack, which, incidently, is very rare and worth getting hold of if you can.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Classic but now ruined.

All the other review are true. The film was and is a classic though in this format it is ruined. The original sound has now been dubbed with Eric's voice is not the original and sounds very badly acted....I've heard video games with better voice acting.
