Wonder Woman (2 Disc)

I watched this last night & was completely blown away!
All the action & fighting scenes were just so amazing & the humour funny!
Wonder Woman herself is really sexy, feisty & packs a real punch! (from another girl's point of view)
A real winner of a movie if you're a huge fan of WW like me & won't be dissappointed!

Wasn't expecting it to be great after seeing the trailer but it was absolutely fantastic. Amazing animation and surprisingly... funny!

As a huge Wonder Woman fan, I was keeping my fingers crossed that this was going to be good but in all honesty I wasn't very hopeful. These days there's a tendency to write her as a 'one-angry-notch-away-from-a-meltdown' kind of character, but this was great. It mostly stayed true to the Marston origin but took some of the best bits from the Perez reboot and added its own little twists along the way and its all the better for it. The voiceover cast are excellent (especially Nathan Fillion) and the animation is fantastic (altho' I slightly prefer the animation/WW fight scenes in Justice League COTE). The only (minor) downsides were the omission of bullets and bracelets on Themyscira (I love the Diana Trevor story) and the bloody invisible plane making an appearance! Wonder Woman should fly! Aside from these two trivial things, I really loved it. 5 stars

Wonder Woman (2009) is an animated DC comics movie featuring the voices of Keri Russell, Nathan Fillion, Rosario Dawson, Marg Helgenberger, Virginia Madsen and Alfred Molina.

The plot tells the origins of superhero Wonder Woman (Russell) who is sent into the world of man in an attempt to recapture the evil war god Ares (Molina).

The animation in this movie is really sharp and the fight sequences are some of the most exciting created in animated movies. The script is also quite funny with Nathan Fillion taking most of the laughs.

Wonder Woman is one of the best animated movies I have watched but its not perfect. The run time is very short, just over an hour, and the backstory is overly complicated at times. That said this is an exciting movie well worth a look.

The DVD extras are also quite good. There is a filmmakers commentary and a few quite short documentaries. There's also a look at the upcoming Green Lantern animated movie which looks promising.
