A macabre mix of humor and horror that shot director John Landis to fame. This classic horror/comedy tells the beastly tale of two American youths David and Jack (Naughton and Dunne) whose European adventure turns to terror after they are attacked by a werewolf. One of the travelers is killed, but the other's fate is worse than death as every full moon now seems to bring out the beast in him.

This is the best werewolf movie ever. It's got the perfect balance of horror and comedy. When the film is scary, it pant browning scary, just check out the moors scene in the opening 10 minutes, and when it's funny it's pant wettingly funny. This is also Landis's best movie. The transformation from man to beast is the best ever filmed, and not a CGI effect in sight ( due to it's age ) This is one of the ultimate horror movies ever made, and a must purchase for any horror fan. Just remember "BEWARE THE MOON !"

This film is a true milestone in horror film making, and still as scary as it was new. I once stayed in a hotel on the moors where it was filmed, and watched this at about 1 a.m. It scared the hell out of me! didn't get any sleep all night! fantastic film well worth a fiver.

I have fond memorys of this comedy/horror movie and after watching it again last night all those memorys some old some new came back like a rush of blood to the head.... This movie still has the story and effects to make you laugh, cry, hide behind the sofa and ponder about life. A must buy and at this price you'd be howling mad not to get it. Classic!!!
