Meet The Parents

The movie is very well made, tightly plotted comedy, that is a treat to watch.
The premise of meeting a overpowering father in law is very simple, but the pace of the movie really racks up the tension and the comedy.
De Niro is a joy to watch, as he slyly sends up his fearsome psycho image, Ben Stiller plays his part really well as well, and Owen Wilson has a small but very funny role.
Watched the movie a few times over the years and it is holding up really well.
One of the better Comedies of the Noughties

One of Ben Stillers better films by a mile but with Robert De Niro as his opposite how can it not be. Both were fantastic and this is a brilliant comedy for all the family as Greg (Stiller) gets to meet the family of fiancee Pam (Terri Polo) and things go crazy for our enjoyment. Great fun packed film that never loses its replay value. Enjoy

First of all this is a great DVD one night I watched it and I watched it for about two weeks great performances by Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro class movie.

Excellent! Such a great film - from beginning to end, its just everyones worst nightmare come true. De niro looks like he is gonna burst out laughing all the way through.

Ben stiller and De-niro together was a great combination .
The film is hilarious from start to finsih .
From the point where Greg opens the Champange and the cork hits the ern with Mothers ashes in it and the whole thing hits the floor and the cat goes to the toilet in it is falling of the chair funny .
Then he sets the wedding alter on fire and the whole family get covered in sewage .
I watched this film on a plane flight to New york once and could not wait for the release of the dvd .
