Infestation

Long gone are the days when straight-to-disc horror films were the poor relations of the genre. The unbelievably inept 'Sorority Row' just got a nationwdie cinema release while this little beauty creeps (geddit?) into the retail market with barely any fanfare. Imagine 'Office Space' crossed with 'Them. It's funny, a bit scary and even quite touching at times. It's already great before the brilliant Ray Wise turns up about half way through and then it cranks up about three more gears. Even without a couple of beers, it's a classic.

This is one of the best horror-monster films in a while, if you love B-movie style movies with giant bugs in like eight legged freaks then you will certainly enjoy this, loads of comedy gross-out moments and a wild silly story, but massive fun.

At first the film was reasonably slow off the ground, but started to get more and more watchable to the end.

This just scrapes the 3 star rating and probaly hits a 3.5 at best.

I agree that in some respects this is like a B-Movie, but thankfully a bit better than the 50's and 60's B-Movies.

The chances are that with the ending their will be a follow on, and I cannot wait to see that when it is out.

Deffinatly a DVD movie rather than a cinema experience, also maybe one of those that you should hold off buying until sub five pounds, then an excellent watch if two people or more.

ive watched it on tv and its very good and funny.it's has its fair share of action comedy horror and drama it's like a mick take of all 1950's b-movies
