again, another good movie, however they went too much for the comedy and it felt a little less dramatic than its predessesors.

This is more of the same as the other two. Gibson, Glover and Pesci are back, and so are the bad guys. The bad guys this time a arms dealers headed by a ex-cop. The main problem with this is the comedy tone. The hard edge of the first two movies is pushed aside, and the comedy is put in the front. This was a massive hit with the fans, but if you compare it to the previouse two movies the strains do show. We also have Rene Russo as a Internal Affairs officer and Riggs's love interest this time, and she is very good. Although the action is good, you do get the feeling that you have seen it all before. This is not a bad film, but it does seem very average when you compare it to the fireworks of the first two.
