The book/movie series is amazing and I find it very pleasing to watch!

Harry leaves with his uncles and their spoiled son, he is neglected and his uncles don't want others to know his secret, Harry is a wizard, a very famous one, soon he learns that his been accepted to Hogwarts a school for Wizards, he will meet friends and enemies, and also the reason why his parent died and he became famous!

Excellent scf-fi/fantasy adventure that the whole family can enjoy with great characters, effects and story.

Even though a few of scenes have been cut from JK Rowling's book, fans probably couldn't hope for a better adaptation. It bodes well for the rest of the series.9/10

Back in 2001 when i saw this i loved it and it set me up for all the sequels that lay ahead but i havent lost interest in the whole thing. It gives us the chance to meet the characters and build a bond to them afterall it is a very long film franchise. It started the same time as "The Lord of the Rings" but i think this is a much better series of films even though i like that too. Brilliant fantasy adventure for the whole family. Enjoy

This is the worst film of the series. The actors are clearly not used to being in films. Also the special effects arn't as good as the later films. But the kids wont notice any of these downfalls and is still a great family film plus the franchise gets ALOT better!

I had seen this at the cinema when it first came out and thought it was quite good but had not seen it since.
We decided to sit down and start watching the franchise from the start again the other day so we bought the boxset and began. This film is good very enjoyable fun for the family and worth watching for everyone.
