In this labyrinthine sequel, the Immortal MacLeod saves the people of Earth from immanent ozone layer-related destruction by building a shield that deflects sunlight. But the people of Earth aren't especially grateful, as the constant state of night has made them cranky and prone to criminal sprees. Moreover, bounty hunters from the Immortals' home planet, Zeist, have given chase, and it could mean curtains for us all unless MacLeod and an ecologist can liberate the Earth and banish the assassins...

Yes I admit, there were a load of difficulties in the editing precess of this film and maybe the storyline. But this film is very entertaining in perts and actually humerous. Sean Connery's character, Remirez, being resurected from the first film is actually a funny happening, he wonders around this new world of his in funny ways. The style of the film is also good I think. But it's worth a watch to you all.
IT'S A KIND OF DREADFUL!!

Number 1 DVD Reviewer
A pathetic sequel that contradicts everything set up in the first film. I thought Sean Connery was supposed to be Spanish in the original, if so why in this is he dressed in tartain and his death is played out with bagpipes?
Also the explanation that the Immortals are actually aliens takes away all the mystery from the original.
Not even "rent a bad guy" Michael Ironside can liven up this dreadful movie.
Although the movie was severely hacked to bits in the editing process to try and make sense out of this mess, you can rest assured that the Directors Cut that is only available on Region 1 is just as pathetic.
The film is just so pompous and unintentianally funny.
This is a really pathetic film.
I find it hard to believe that it is directed by the same guy who made the first.
Any fan of the original should avoid!

im first to admit that this film provides the most ridiculous solution as to why the characters are immortal, but im totally giving it a 4 star on the sheer basis i laughed my way through it. dont you think it was a coincedence how an alien "connor macleod" was randomly banished to scotland? but seriously, i recommend watching it!
